However, if you have time and your dog enjoys brushing, brush daily irrespective of their hair types.
Bathing and washing your dog regularly is good for the dog, but may be your pet does not like it. Do not use a tub and dip the dog in it. Instead use a hose or a shower head to bathe your dog. Use a dog shampoo which is mostly soap free. If your dog has some genetic ear problems or allergy, then be very careful while giving the dog a bath. Do not let water enter the ears. However many dogs do not show any symptoms of ear problem all their lives. Cut the hair below and above ears to keep the area clean.
